What Visatronix covers

TCS Visatronix is a visa drop-off and document service. TCS says it helps with scanning, photocopies and fingerprint checks at Express Centres in 11 major cities. It handles the paperwork side of your application, not the decision.

Before you go, check what you need with the embassy, consulate or visa office. We cannot tell you which offices or collection options a centre offers on a given day. These details can change, so get them from the visa office or from TCS.

Bring the papers and reference numbers the visa office asks for. Keep every receipt you get at the counter. The receipt has the number you will need later to ask where your documents are.

Where your documents are is not the same as a visa decision

A TCS update tells you who has your documents and where they are. It cannot tell you about a decision that only a visa office or embassy can make. Keep these two questions apart.

For questions about approval, refusal or appointments, contact the visa office through its official channels. To find out where your document package is, use the number on your receipt and ask TCS.

This can save you a wasted trip. Your application may be in a process TCS does not control. And TCS can often tell you where the package is without knowing anything about the application.

Use your tracking number when you ask

Most TCS tracking numbers are 12 digits, though some older ones include letters. Copy the number from your receipt when you use the TCS tracking page or call TCS. It is easy to mistype a number from memory, especially when you are in a hurry.

Keep the original receipt with your application papers until everything is finished. If you get a new number for the return of your documents, keep that too. Check the details for your own booking and ask TCS if anything is unclear.

Collection and visit planning

Before you travel, ask TCS and the visa office about collection rules, what ID you need and whether someone else can collect for you. Do not rely on a general checklist from the internet for important original papers.

It is also worth checking the centre’s opening hours. The Express Centre timings guide explains the usual counter hours, but some centres keep different hours.
