It keeps the status, the origin and destination cities, dates and the scan history, and drops sender and receiver names, phone numbers and cash-on-delivery amounts, so anyone who types a consignment number cannot learn who the parcel belongs to.
D. Notice Dismissal Flag (tcs_disclaimer_dismissed)
When you close the independence notice at the top of the page, your browser keeps the single value tcs_disclaimer_dismissed in sessionStorage so the notice stays hidden until you close the tab. It holds no personal data.
E. Server System Telemetry
Standard hosting connection records (IP addresses, user agents, request timestamps) are collected to protect against malicious scripts and ensure high service availability. Consignment numbers are never written to logs in full: the result cache stores them only as a salted SHA-256 hash, and log lines show a masked form such as 1234****9012.
