TCS Attestation Tracking: MOFA, HEC and IBCC Documents

Published: 2026-09-19• Last reviewed: 2026-09-19

Quick Answer

TCS helps you get documents attested by MOFA, HEC, IBCC and BISE through more than 1,000 Express Centres and service points. Keep the tracking number from your receipt to ask where your documents are. A “Delivered” status only means the parcel arrived, not that the office has finished checking it, so ask that office about its own steps.

What TCS attestation help covers

TCS helps you send documents for attestation by MOFA, HEC, IBCC and BISE. You can use more than 1,000 Express Centres and service points, so you do not have to visit those offices yourself. But you still have to meet the rules of the office that checks your documents.

Start with the official instructions from the office that deals with your document. Ask them which documents, copies, forms, fees, appointments or checks you need. We do not publish one checklist for everyone, because the rules depend on the document and can change.

When you have everything the office needs, ask TCS what it needs to accept the booking at your chosen counter. Keep originals, copies, reference numbers and receipts together and safe. Take extra care with original documents.

Where your parcel is vs what the office is doing

Tracking tells you about the courier parcel. It cannot tell you whether MOFA, HEC, IBCC, BISE or another office has checked or approved your documents. Once your parcel has reached the office, ask the office about its own work.

This matters when the tracking stops changing for a while. Do not guess a processing time from the last scan. Ask the office through its official channel about its progress, and use your tracking number to ask TCS only about the parcel itself.

Keeping these two questions apart makes calls easier. One question is where your documents are. The other is what the office is doing with them. The answers, and who to ask, can be different.

Before you go to the counter

Check the current rules before you leave home. Government and education offices may have their own websites, reference numbers, payment steps or appointments. Only the office can tell you which ones apply to you. After that, TCS can help with the booking.

Also check the opening hours of your chosen Express Centre. The usual hours are in our TCS Express Centre timings guide, but check your local centre too. A complete set of documents does not help if the counter is closed.

Keep every tracking reference

Most TCS tracking numbers are 12 digits, though some older ones include letters. Keep the number on your receipt. Use it on the TCS tracking page or when you call TCS about where your parcel is.

If a later step gives you a new receipt or number, keep it with your other papers. One number may not cover every step of the attestation. Read the receipt, and ask TCS if you are not sure which parcel it is for.

Where to get help

For questions about a TCS parcel, call the TCS helpline on 111-123-456. Have your tracking number and booking details ready. For document rules or the office’s own checks, contact the office handling your attestation.

This is an independent guide, not an attestation office. If a rule matters for getting your original document accepted or returned, confirm it before you book instead of relying on an old checklist or someone else’s case.
